Ravens Purple Fridays Announces New Service Applying Purple Spray Chalked "Go Ravens" Stencil On Location

BALTIMORE, MD, October 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Baltimore Ravens fans can now have the ultimate Ravens decoration to compliment any venue or event—the "Go Ravens" logo purple spray chalked on their sidewalk, building, parking lot or wherever!

When the Baltimore Ravens were in the playoffs earlier this year, the Ravens organization made the city come alive with these logos spray chalked all over the downtown area. Today Ravens Nests, bars, restaurants, private homes, or any venue can now create that same fan atmosphere with a unique Ravens team tribute.

The Purple Fridays Team will come to any location and turn it into a Ravens fan site with the exclusive purple spray chalked logo. Spray chalk will naturally wash away after several weeks, and is not permanent.

"Even rain does not diminish the great look of this logo," says Lowell Sheets of PurpleFridays.com. "It just makes the purple color look even darker and better when wet."

To see the logo or schedule the Purple Fridays team to spice up your Ravens venue, visit http://www.PurpleFridays.com .

PurpleFridays.com also features the Baltimore Ravens schedule, news, game recaps, video highlights, fan photos, Purple Fridays events, contests, tailgating recipes, apparel, and links to everything Ravens.

Five Fun Facts about The Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are one of the most respected franchises in the NFL. We seem to continually year in and year out have a tough team that can never be overlooked. Whether you are a Ravens fan located far from Baltimore or one who participates regularly in Ravens Purple Fridays, you might be interested in these five fun facts about our great football team.

#1 - Quarterback Joe Flacco's first touchdown pass of his NFL career came in the second quarter of a 23-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in week three of the 2008 season. It went for four yards and was caught by tight end Daniel Wilcox.

#2 - The first 100 yard game in Baltimore Ravens history came in 1996. It was a week four 17-10 win over the New Orleans Saints and Earnest Byner carried the ball 24 times for 149 yards. This was Byner's only 100 yard game with the Ravens and it was the last of his 14-year career.

#3 - The first and so far only Baltimore Ravens quarterback to throw for more than 400 yards in a game was Vinny Testaverde. In a 37-31 win over the St. Louis Rams in 1996, Testaverde completed 31 of 51 passes for 429 yards and three touchdowns.

#4 - Head coach Ted Marchibroda has an interesting tie to Baltimore. He was head coach of the Baltimore Colts from 1975 to 1979. He then was employed as head coach of the Colts a second time, from 1992 to 1995, after they had moved from Baltimore to Indianapolis. He was then the first head coach in Baltimore Ravens history when he coached the team from 1996 to 1998.

#5 - The ‘Special Teams Player of the Week’ award was won one week in 2004 by a Baltimore Ravens punter. It was actually won by backup quarterback Kordell Stewart who was filling in for the injured Ravens punter that week.

Hope you enjoyed the trivia, and don't forget to send in your pictures to www.PurpleFridays.com to enter our contest for an NFL official Ravens Red Zone jacket!
